A Promising Start to A New Series, 4 Stars 🌟

Ms. Jane Porter is a bestselling prolific writer who has written over forty books and is a five-time RITA Award finalist. Her latest book Kidnapped for His Royal Duty, doesn't disappoint and is a must read for all fans of Ms. Porter’s work. In Kidnapped for His Royal Duty; Randall Grant, the Sixth Earl of Langston or should that be Sheikh Talal bin Mehkar is left at the altar. Randall knows his assistant Poppy Marr knows why his bride-to-be is being carried off in the arms of another man, but loyal Poppy won’t answer his questions, so Randall decides there is another way to get answers and in the process honor the terms of the trust his father set up and be married by his 35th Birthday and so starts working on persuading Poppy to marry him. Poppy has had a (not so) secret crush on Randall since she started working for him four years ago and all she wants is to ‘save him’ and for him to be happy, but can this reluctant Sheikh reignite his buried emotions, repressed by the events of his past, so that both he and the kind hearted Poppy can have their Royal HEA in Mehkar. This book is the first in the Stolen Brides series (it can also be enjoyed as a great standalone) however, if you enjoyed it (as much or nearly as much as I did) and you are as intrigued as I am to find out more about Sophie Carmichael-Jones and the former Sicilian race car driver Renzo’s story then look out for the next book in the series by Ms Caitlin Crews, The Bride's Baby of Shame, a must for fans of this new series and Ms. Crews. I received my copy from Netgalley and Mills and Boon via Mills and Boon Insiders, but this does not influence my opinions as all opinions are my own.
