Her innocence—exposed!

London’s top relationship columnist Abby Hart can’t tell anyone her biggest secret: not only is her perfect fiancé entirely fictional, she is also utterly untouched. Invited to attend a prestigious charity ball with her ‘husband-to-be’, she throws herself upon the mercy of brooding millionaire Luke Shelverton.

After his own engagement ended tragically, Luke is reluctant to take credit for Abby’s diamond ring. To protect her reputation he agrees to a convenient arrangement… Except Abby’s effervescence kindles a fire he’s tempted to indulge! And uncovering her innocence compels Luke to initiate his temporary fiancée into all the sinful delights of the bridal bed!

Celebrating Melanie Milburne's 75th book with Mills & Boon!

A Virgin for a Vow.

Rating By Lorna,02/12/2017

What a beautiful story. A passionate, heart felt love story between two very special people who develop a deep and meaningful relationship overcoming unhappy childhoods, fear of loving(On the hero's part) and a need for commitment and security (On the heroine's part), yet finding a joyous and deeply passionate love for each other. I smiled, I cried and most of all this story left me feeling warm and satisfied . A wonderful story from a wonderful story teller. This is why I always buy Melanie Milburne books without reading the back cover. Always a treat, always a pleasure... Stories to read again and again.

Abby Hart has it all the perfect life and the perfect fiancé, or so she would let you think, in fact it's all a carefully crafted illusion Abby feels she has to maintain as London's top relationship advice columnist. After all who would take her advice if they knew the truth that Abby is a virgin who has never had a relationship and was brought up in foster care following her traumatic childhood. So when Abby receives an invitation to attend a prestigious charity ball with her 'perfect’ fiancé, Abby calls on the only person she can trust her bestfriends brother Luke Shelverton. Although Luke has his own issues, he reluctantly agrees to pretend to be Abby's fiancé for the ball but when circumstances transpire to push Abby and Luke together; Luke realises there is more to Abby and the attraction between them ignites, but when the week is over can Abby break through Luke's reservations to find her ‘almost perfect’ HEA! Wow Ms Milburne’s 75th book doesn't disappoint, it is the perfect way to enjoy a winter's evening snuggled up on the sofa with a cosy blanket and a hot chocolate or a glass of wine. Ms Milburne is always a must read, congratulations on the first 75 and I’m looking forward to the next 75 and more! Fyi I received my copy from Netgalley and Mills and Boon via Mills and Boon Insiders, but this does not influence my opinions as all opinions are my own.

The order went through easily and came really quite quickly. They were packaged securely and I'm enjoying reading them.
