Brilliant 2nd Installment

Book Two in the Society Weddings series. Christian and Alessandra are introduced in book 1 with just enough details to make me curious so purchased this as soon as I could, especially after reading the excerpt. First thing I loved about this story is the fantastic start to the story, Alessandra is the little sister to Book 1's hero, Rocco. His three best friends know that the beautifully stunning Alessandra is 200% off limits but one night Alessandra acts on her simmering attraction to Christian and boom - firecrackers are shooting everywhere. Given the title you can guess that as a result of the amazing magical night Alessandra has some unexpected news for Christian. Due to his upbringing he swears no child of his will ever go through that and insists on marrying Alessandra, but prior to that - they must tell Rocco. Which brings me to the second reason why I loved the book - telling Rocco the news. Loved this part, so so brilliantly written and true to form how a big brother would act. The Greek's Pregnant Bride is swept me along on such an emotional rollercoaster that Michelle Smart is so clever at doing. It was so passionate and the background stories fitting in well. I was on the ride all the way. I really loved Alessandra, she has a lot to contend with, her father, her grandfather, her brother and now Christian, not to mention trying to build a career as a professional photographer. Being pregnant and not knowing what the future holds except knowing that she's developing more and more stronger feelings for Christian while he is more and more rejecting her. Well written, a fabulous read, especially if you love emotion and intensness, drama and beautiful locations. Strong characters and wonderfully woven and connected stories. Very much looking forward to Stefan's story, especially after reading an excerpt of he and Clio, and knowing that Zayed (from book 4) is telling Clio he knows something's wrong and he doesnt have to give her away to Stefan. Thank you Michelle, another fantastic fantastic story xx 4.5 from me

The Greek’s Pregnant Bride by Michelle Smart was a well written marriage of convenience romance and sudden pregnancy romance. Alessandra was introduced in the first book and her match with Christian was very much implied in the same. She was an adorable character who had suffered in the past due to public scrutiny. Christian is an alpha tortured hero who feels he is unworthy of anyone’s love. I loved him and it was so beautiful to see him fall in love with a worthy woman. The romance was emotional and passionate due to the amazing chemistry the characters shared. The pacing was a little off with some parts dragging a little bit but the author’s awesome writing and an amazing sensual romance made the whole ride an enjoyable one.Read More

Amazing, sensational 5* Modern genre, a must buy!

Michelle Smart has done it again, writing a lovely, focused Romance about a very alpha, macho hero Christian and his attraction and love for Alessandra who go through various emotions of love till they finally acknowledge it. Their resolution makes the reader feel contented too! The storyline is contained, the wit, humour at times and the dialogue is so scintillating that it holds the reader's attention till the very last line of the story!Superb and brilliant work of another genius of a writer!

This is the second in the series of four books about four best friends. I was eagerly awaiting this book as I loved the first one. I have to say I loved it !!! Christian and Alessandra were perfect for each other, they had great passion and energy and emotion. This book is beautifully written, I flew through the pages I just couldn't read it fast enough, again with this book as with the first one I filled up a couple of times, there's so much emotion. This is turning out to be the best series I've ever read in M&B modern, it really is renewing my faith in the modern line, I just love the way this series is written, thank you Michelle Smart, you wrote a fabulous book and now I'm wishing the month away so I can get my hands on Stefans story. 5 stars and much much more for this book xx

With breathtaking characters that come alive on the page and having a will of their own, a distinct plot popping with high octane drama, a blooming and fascinating romance, red-hot sexual chemistry, stunning and picturesque scenery, engaging dialogue, and a writing style that sparkles makes THE GREEK'S PREGNANT BRIDE, the second story in Harlequin's SOCIETY WEDDINGS, by Michelle Smart a must-read! Christian Markos has lived life to satisfying fulfillment. He has seen the good, the bad and the ugly. He has everything a rich, powerful man could ever possess. Except there is one thing his money cannot buy…his best friend's sister, the woman who steals his every breath! Alessandra Mondelli has made mistakes in the past…we all do. Being an offspring from the classy Mondelli family, society judges her by her past. When she discovers she is unwed and pregnant, it is only right that she corrects her mistake by agreeing to Christian's honorable proposal: marriage. Harlequin Presents/ Mills & Boon fans are in for a lavishly decadent and sumptuously delicious treat with a hero who makes you droll (who doesn't love a filthy rich, gorgeous Greek?) and a heroine who encompasses today's modern woman: strong, resilient, independent and courageous… MOST DEFINITELY RECOMMENDED 5/5 STARS

Dull and flat!

Rating By Kelly,20/05/2015

First off, I have to say I do love Ms. Smart's writing. But man, was I disappointed with this one. Especially in comparison to Ms. Heyward's and Ms. Pammi's installments. I have to say Christian was dull and Alessandra came off like a spoilt little kid. In contrast, Rocco and Olivia and Stefan and Clio just feel like they're people I know.
