The second mini-Series of The House Of Karedes has improved with each book and this, the final one, was undoubtedly the best of the bunch. Tahir was a fascinating hero and Annalisa was a perfect foil for him. A captivating book with an intriguing plot and I was able to relate much more to this than I normally do for a book with a "royal" theme. 10 out of 10.

Loved it!

WOW, this is a good book! I really enjoyed it. Cannot wait for Annie West's next book.

I loved the series, but for me this book was by far the best of the bunch. Maybe it was because it was the final instalment and gave the series the well rounded finish it deserved. I love this author's work and really enjoy her stand alone titles, so I was a bit nervous to read her work in a series, fearing that it might be restricted in some way--but it wasn't--far from it in fact. I think the editors knew what they were doing in giving this final book to Annie. No one reading the series would be disappointed.

yes.yes yes!!!
