The right mistress…but the wrong bride!

Lindy was amazed when shipping tycoon Atreus Dionides made her his mistress. Her – with her fuller figure and lowly lifestyle, making candles and pot-pourri! However, Atreus seemed enchanted by her curves when he made passionate love to her at his country retreat.

But Lindy came down to earth with two bumps – first when Atreus revealed she was just his weekend mistress; his bride would be selected from the upper echelons of Greek society. The second bump she wouldn’t be able to hide…because she was carrying Atreus’s baby!

Pregnant Brides Inexperienced and expecting, they’re forced to marry!

not Lynne's best

Rating By R,02/02/2010

Rather than write a full review I can only say I have to concur with the previous reviewer. Mrs Lynne is one of my favourite authors - she is the only one so far who didn't have a heroine buckle down in an earlier book when threatened with a custody case!! - but this unfortunately misses the mark for me. I couldn't really feel simpatico with either Atreus or Lindy. I would give it 4 out of 10.

Something missing

Rating By Sadhana,27/03/2010

I happen to love Lynne's book but something is missing in this one and for the life of me I can't seem to figure out what? There is romance, passion but the je ne sais quoi .............is not there and that leaves one feeling flat. I would say read it only if you are a diehard fan of Lynne's. Which I am. Happy reading

could not put it down

Rating By Shaida,17/02/2010

Had a day off work, and it has been ages since I have had time to read during the day all I can say is that I enjoyed it immensely, could not put it down and finished it in one day and now Lynne Graham has become one of my favourite authors. I disagree with the comment that Lindy was a doormat. Agree that the hero should have redeemed himself better towards the end, but definitely did not hate him. As I had not read the 2 earlier books in this trilogy, I have now started reading Elinors and Jasim's story! Loved it!

Very pleasant story, just sorry it ended so soon!

Curiously Unexciting

Rating By Jacqueline,02/02/2010

I really enjoyed the first 2 books in this series 'Desert Prince, Bride of Innocence and 'Ruthless Magnate, Convenient Wife' and I am usually a great fan - but unfortunately this latest instalment failed to deliver. The book was curiously flat and lacked humour. I disliked Atreus (who in my mind failed to redeem himself by the end of the book) and unfortunately Lindy was too much of a doormat. I look forward to LG's next book as I'm sure she will return to her usual high standards.

Very good!

Book 3

Rating By MAURINE,02/03/2010

This is the third book in the Pregnant Brides trilogy. Book 2 is the best followed by book 1. While this book is good, there's something missing that doesn't quite put it over the top. This is a shame because Lynne Graham is a great writer. However, I still recommend this book. I also recommend that if you want to read all three, that you read them in order.

good story

Good read

Not the best of the best of the pregnant brides series. Prefer Alissa and Sergei's story. But still a good read.

Not one of her best but...

Rating By Catherine,06/02/2010

Okay, so it's not one of her best. It's still enjoyable though and I liked Lindy a lot. I did like the hero as well but I don't think he was portrayed as well as he could be. The book jumps about a lot which didn't help. One minute it's 6 weeks later then it's 18 months later and I'd rather have heard more about what happened in the 18 months than I did. Lynne Graham remains my favourite M&B author though.
