About Blythe

After many years in public relations, advertising, and marketing, I began writing seriously when a corporate layoff pushed me into redundancy. Ten years later, my success came overnight when I sold my Romance Writers of America Golden Heart finalist manuscript to Harlequin.

Since, I have written medieval romances featuring everything from characters born on the wrong side of the royal blanket, to a series set on the Scottish borders during the early Tudor era and and a duo set in the fourteenth century English royal court.

My work has been cited as ‘the perfect balance between history and romance’ by the Chicago Tribune and my books have finalled in the Readers Crown, More than Magic, Aspen Gold, Beacon, and Lories contests.

I live and work along Chicago's lakefront and juggle writing with a consulting career. I love to hear from my readers and can be contacted me via my social links.
