About Sabrina

I’ve been fascinated by all aspects of romance since a early age. Whether it was looking at my mum and dad’s wedding photos or watching old movies, like Seven Brides for Seven Brothers; I just couldn’t get enough.

I first discovered Harlequin Presents one Saturday afternoon in my early teens, at my first job in a charity shop. Sorting through a stack of pre-loved books, I came across a cover featuring a glamourous heroine and a tall, dark, handsome hero. I instantly started reading it under the counter and have never looked back!

As a lover of both reading and writing since childhood, I went on to study English with Classical Studies at Reading University. I adore all literature but find there’s nothing else quite like the indulgent thrill of Mills and Boon Presents – preferably while lying in a hot bath with no distractions!

I began to write in my spare time after I graduated, but it wasn’t until I attended a course run by Presents author Sharon Kendrick (in a pink castle in Scotland!) I realised that if I wanted to be published badly enough, I had to make time. From then on I wrote anywhere and everywhere – on planes, on trains, on my lap during my lunch hour. Thankfully, it all paid off. In 2008 – a decade after reading my very first Mills and Boon – my first submission Valenti’s One-Month Mistress, was published in 2008. I am absolutely delighted to join Mills and Boon as an author and to have the opportunity to create infuriatingly sexy heroes of my own, which I defy both my heroines – and my readers – to resist!

I live in Guildford with my husband, who first swept me off my feet when we were both sixteen and poring over a copy of Much Ado About Nothing for our English A-Level. I love travelling to exotic destinations and spending time with my family. When I’m not writing or doing one of the above, I work as a deputy registrar of civil marriages, which is both a fantastic source of romantic inspiration and a great deal of fun.
