"Wow. Lynne Graham has outdone herself. Good book. Have never met such a strong heroine in all the romances I've read so far. We finally get a girl who stands up to her man. The storytelling was good - flowed quite well, not overwhelmed by too much S.E.X. You get drawn in by the story of a girl who knows what she wants, and does not compromise her ethics and principles even in the face of physical atraction. This book shows that you don't have to be a doormat to win your man. Way to go, Lynne! "

"How do you review a book which is only half completed?

In Alexei Mrs Graham has once again created an alpha male although not as agressive as sometimes previously - which works well with me. Billie is feisty and a mixture of both modern and old-fashioned.

There is an intriguing plot and I am eagerly awaiting to see how events unfold.

BUT, there is no ending as M&B readers expect since the story is to be continued in a second book and I'm not sure that I'm in favour of this. Could it not have been issued as a longer Sprcial release?

I will be interested to see how other Readers feel about this.

As it stands though -ending notwithstanding - it's a winner to date.

9 out of 10."

"loved the story so far, i feel the leads are both strong but not too hard. am quite frustrated that i have to wait a month to read the end of the story as this isnt a complete story its only halfway there and so far we havnt really got to any romance. as much as i love the story so far i do feel this would have been better done as a duet at the same time, done this way has made me cynical and think maybe it is a way  to make us pay more for one story."

great book...a must read

"Great book as always from Lynne Graham but I'm seriously not impressed with the two part for month-to-month - it's not why we read Mills & Boon!  Please don't adopt this as a format, it's too annoying and would have been much better if it had been released as a special release in two parts - do NOT want this becoming a regular feature of modern.  It's a pity as I usually love the series but I think the story of the hero and heroine needs to be completed within one book.

"I didn't realise this was part one of two books  till I got to the end! Dying to get to the sequel and find out what happens to poor Billie...
This must be the most bizarre and convoluted plot I've read in a Mills and Boon (ok its' a ridiculous plot but I won't spoil it for you) . Still I really can't wait for the next installment - good read!"

"Wood have give it 5 stars if I did not have to waited a mouth To find out the end  I do not like this, "WILL NOT BE  READING " "BOOKS MADE LIKE THIS" .  Rather have one long story  willing to pay  the price  off two books, A LONG TIME FAN."

"I left this book til last to read when I received my books this month as I wasn't too keen on the idea of the story following on.

I think having two books does enable you to expand more on the story, and also the characters, but to leave you in suspense for 4 weeks is a little unfair!!

However, I really enjoyed the story, and I'm interested after reading the snippet at the back of the book, how the hero will react to the deception.  I'm imagining quite a volatile beginning!

I'd rate this book 9 out of 10.

"Another great read from Lynne Graham. She never disappoints.  However I do agree that the two-part concept is extremely annoying.  I'm used to getting my happy ending fix at the end of the book and not a month down the line. Afterall the book's hardly thick enough that you need an intermission.  Five stars to Lynne Graham and one star to mills and boon for the two book idea (what were you thinking?). "

"Fantastic read with dynamic characters - especially our hero whose sexual appetites extend to menage-a-trois sessions and a heroine who is uncompromising in her ethics. While I wouldn't suggest M&B continue with this format - the novelty factor of waiting 4 weeks is great. As the characters we love so well demonstrate, frustration and anticipation is par for the course in romance!"

"I bought this book 13 July day before my birthday, so I can read it on my birthday and I am very particular about these things right!! I took half a day on my birthday from work went home all excited (note I did not read the reviews, I am what you would one I like an Author I am loyal to you forever or something like that. I read the book was finished by the evening and boy from then, I was really annoyed and a couple of things. I love Lynne's books and I have all of them, on Wed 14 July I was really annoyed with her (not good I know, since I am in control of my own happiness blah blah.......).

So it took me 12 days to finally calm down and vent. But please going forward don't do this I would have rather paid ?5.00/6.00 for the full book at once rather than a wait a month for next installment.

I also have great idea create a modern super romance, instead of part one and two.

But now all the negative emotions are gone, we can concentrate on the future, I can't wait to read the next instalment.

Cheers!!
Lebo"

"I concur with all of the above comments. It is a very good read but I would not have bought it if I had known it was in two parts. It should have been titled The Pregnancy Shock part 1 by Lynne Graham . I will now buy part two to see what how it ends but if this is a kite flying exercise to bring in this format in the future then I will stop buying the books."
