When trouble comes in twos…
Michael D’Angelo might be the driving force behind the successful Archangel galleries, but it doesn’t mean he’s perfect…he lost his halo years ago! Yet when a delectable woman shows up in Paris, claiming he’s the father to twins, it’s one mistake Michael is certain he’s not responsible for.
Fiery Eva Foster won’t walk away until the twins in her charge are reunited with their father. Now the one person she hoped would help is the only person standing in her way. A line has been drawn in the sand – but when the spark between them catches all bets are off!
‘Yet another delightful adventure with Carole!’ – Karen, 43, High Wycombe

Another Mortimer winner
The final book in the D'Angelo brothers' trilogy and while Gabriel the youngest stole my heart Michael wasn't a bad second - certainly they both put the shallow middle brother Rafael into the shade.
This had all the usual Mortimer stand out traits - humour, great dialogue and a strong, feisty heroine tying the hero's stored-up emotions in knots! Michael had a hard exterior but was warmly human inside.
Although I'm not a big fan of children in the plot the babies here were integrated nicely into the plot without taking it over.
It's very rarely Mrs Mortimer fails to please and this was no exception.
Ten out of ten
Exhilarating, scorching masterpiece by Carole as usual!
Any story with babies appeal to me especially when they are twins! Carole has kept to the storyline, making it simple, with descriptions and antics of the babies which are so plausible and realistic! The love of Michael towards Eva is so evident from the very beginning that it engages the attention of a ‘romantic’ reader immediately, not forgetting their conversation which keeps one riveted. This is a mini series which must be in one’s home library.
I love it, love it.... LOVE IT!!
I've always love romance with babies! This book is one of my latest favorite! I love how Michael becomes so mellow when it comes to the twins. He may be cold outside but so soft and a father-like heart inside. So my type of man! Loves the ending where his brothers mocked him back about getting married. Two thumbs up to Carole!!
