Must Read New Miniseries of 2018, 4.5 Stars 🌟

If you like your hero’s flawed but with good intentions and your heroines strong with a mind of their own, then I think you will love Ms Hunter's latest book; Shock Heir For The Crown Prince, part of her Claimed by a King miniseries. In this book we meet Crown Prince Casimir of Byzenmaach who has the meaning of responsibility drummed in to him from a young age; his father is a tyrant and his future is shaped by the tragic events of his childhood. So when he meets Anastasia ‘Ana’ Douglas on his way home from delegate talks in Geneva, where Ana is a language student, Prince Casimir can not help but take advantage of that brief time to just be Cas and the freedom that comes from that anonymity. However, once that brief period of time is over Cas walks away from Ana back to his duties unknowingly leaving Ana with a permanent reminder of their time together. Fast forward seven years and Cas is still haunted by his memories of Ana and their time together and so decides to find Ana to finally put the past behind him, but what he finds changes the future for them both but can it lead to a HEA! Ms K Hunter’s first book in her new miniseries is a perfect standalone in its own right but with the closing chapters twist, it also sets the scene for future books in the series with Convenient Bride for the King (coming soon) and references to Byzenmaach neighbouring monarchs Augustus of Arun, Theodosius of Liesendaach and Valentine of Thallasia all of which leaves the reader wanting more. Ms Hunter has written an emotional engaging story with strong characters that draw you in and will make you want to keep reading the whole series! Fyi I received my copy from Netgalley and Mills and Boon via Mills and Boon Insiders, but this does not influence my opinions as all opinions are my own.
