The cost of defiance!

Princess Samarah Al-Azem knows revenge cannot be rushed. Having bided her time, she’s finally ready to bring down Sheikh Ferran – her kingdom’s enemy and the man who took everything from her. In the still of night, she lies in wait in his bedchamber…

Soon Ferran has the beautiful assassin at his mercy – now Samarah must decide: imprisonment in a cell… or in diamond shackles as his wife.

Dr Jekyll to the fore!

Rating By R,20/10/2014

Ms Yates books are something akin to Dr Jekyll and Mr Hyde for me but this one definitely falls into the Dr Jekyll category - in fact it is one of her best for some while. While Sheikh stories are not normally my favourite theme this was tension filled and interest holding throughout. Both Ferran and Samarah were compellingly portrayed. Ferran darkly brooding and guilt ridden but your heart goes out to him while Samarah is strong and single minded in her determination to seek revenge yet having a vulnerable and compassionate side to her. An excellent read. Ten out of ten

Perfect triple A* Modern genre love story!

Rating By Arpita,10/11/2014

This is how a Modern genre romance should be. There is no sensitive issues like physical impairments which are difficult for some readers to accept. This love story is typical of Maisey Yates’s writing. She strikes the right balance between lust, attraction, sensuality and emotional scars. A must for her fans and others, who like sharp repartee, tender moments of loving actions and the happily ever after with their own baby to clinch their happiness. Superb, superb and again superb!
