Nine months to save their marriage!

Nik Christakis was once her Prince Charming – the indecently rich and devilishly handsome tycoon who took Betsy away from her life as a waitress and did the unimaginable: made her his wife! But married life wasn’t the fantasy she’d envisaged.

Now, as her hand hovers over the divorce papers, Betsy sees something in her husband’s eyes…a glimmer of the man she first fell in love with. But when their encounter ends in reckless passion Betsy is left with a very unexpected consequence that will for ever tie her to the man that she was determined to forget!

Mrs Graham is one of M&B's best, if not the best, authors with her ingenious plots, appealing characters and compelling style and delivery. However, of late I have found that her books have been tending to tail off before the ending. This is another such one. For much of the book it contains all her usual attributes, Nik perhaps a slightly darker hero than usual, hard to relate to at first and his keeping a certain secret from Betsy is nothing less than criminal. Betsy herself is a typical LG heroine not afraid to stand up for herself and there is one glorious scene where she lets fly at Nik which, in itself, makes the whole book worth reading! Then a couple of chapters before the end it gets becalmed and I found the ending a bit OTT. Overall it is certainly a well above average read but a plea - please Mrs Graham don't stop until you reach the finishing line. Eight point five out of ten

A truly brilliant, exceptional read !

Lynne Graham has surpassed herself in weaving this magical, romantic and passionate love story. True, the alpha male hero has apparently insurmountable issues but throughout it all his love shines through for Betsy which she acknowledges so cutely. It is a perfect story as it ends with family of children, as it should be in reality. The story line is focused, the conversation between the two as unforgettable! A ten out of ten indeed.

I love it!!! ^^

The other side of the story from Ravelli’s Defiant Wife! I was anticipating for this and I love it! I can’t even imagine there was a man like Nik in this world (or should I say in Lynne’s fictional world). He was such an as*! It makes my heart bleeds seeing Betsy being tortured emotionally like that. Still, I admired how Betsy tried her hard to save the relationship until the end. And how lovely to see Nik became such a doting father to the twins! A good ending it was. Thank you, Lynne Graham, for such a wonderful book! Can’t wait for Zarif’s story next! ^^
