A vow to break?

She’s a bullet-point on the list of things he’s agreed to do for duty. And, as it’s the only way to restore order in Dahaar and quash the whispers that name him The Mad Prince, Ayaan Al Sharif will marry Zohra Naasar.

Zohra knows something of duty’s destruction – it’s stolen her freedom before and it won’t happen again. She’ll convince Ayaan not to marry her by refusing to sleep with him! Even if he does evoke a desire she’s never felt before.

Ayaan might have agreed to her outrageous demand, but is this one promise The Last Prince of Dahaar can’t keep?

All you can do is read a book and give your personal opinion on it.. Admittedly the sheikh theme is not of my favourite plots so this may have a bearing but I always try to judge a book on its own merits. Once I start reading any novel I always finish it (and this was a real struggle) but I really didn't find anything likable about the characters right from the start and to be honest this was a snooze-fest.

Loved it!!

I loved how realistically the author portrayed the hero's struggles. there was no magic cure for his problems, oonly that he wanted happiness because of Zohra. LOVED the scorching scene in the stables... Tara's fast becoming a Presents favorite of mine....

A dark Comedy, unlike Modern genre

Rating By Arpita,04/04/2014

This is for those readers who like dark, sinister images. The Modern Romance genre deal with quick attraction, billionaires/super tycoons who are near perfect physically and love to deal with light banter or repartee which brings a smile on the face of romantic readers, who like to indulge in this fantasy of make believe! This story is not in this category, I am afraid! It did not leave me till the very end with a good feel factor. The conversation did not flow when Ayaan and Zohra were in conversation. It was stilted and there was something missing in their love, too much of nightmares.
