Touching

Rating By R,15/01/2014

In many ways a family story, much attention paid to the hero's twin daughters and the medical detail mostly confined to one underlying plot - just the sort of M&B Medical I wouldn't normally enjoy. And yet - I can't explain it -this one worked! Set mostly in the often forgotten South Australian capital Adelaide, Quinn and Alisha were two strong and attractive characters, Ali intriguingly half Indian half Danish. Quinn can rest his head on my shoulder any time! Death seems to be stalking

Interesting

This book was unusual for mills and boon as it had a third point of view - the hero, the heroine and the hero's dying ex-wife. I've never seen this before and couldn't decide whether I liked it or not. It was obviously there to make it crystal clear that although the hero was nursing his ex- wife their relationship was no longer romantic. One thing in this story was jarring and gave me the ick factor - but if I mention it the review will be hidden! This story was well done but I actually think it would have been better as a single title longer story to give the necessary attention to all the characters. Emily you made me cry twice!
