Excellent debut

Rating By R,29/12/2013

An encouraging debut from Ms Gianna set intriguingly in Benin, West Africa and including some very strong medical detail. Although the plot of the "secret baby" is by now familiar at least there was no blackmail employed here and I really like the author's writing style. Danielle was a strong compelling heroine who was able to hold her own but I did have a few problems with Chase. He could be manipulative and was only able to see things from his own point of view acting like a spoilt petul

Unlikeable hero

Rating By Lucy,12/06/2014

What I liked about this book - the heroine - she was fabulous, the child, the grandparents, the setting and the medical details. What I didn't like was the hero. He was archaic, controlling and verging on being a bully. He didn't listen to the heroine but just thought she should do exactly as he said. I feel as if there's no room for this kind of man in medical romance. After the black moment, I felt as if this bright, intelligent heroine would have turned and never looked back.
