Of all the arrogant billionaires in all the world, why is Gabriel Diaz the only one she can turn to?

The last occasion when Gabriel heard the word ‘no’ was when Lucy Robins rejected his skilled advances. A moment that is still etched on his bruised ego! Now, with her family in trouble, Lucy desperately needs help. Gabriel is happy to strike a deal, but his price is high: Lucy’s virginity!

Except he isn’t prepared for their night together to leave him hooked, and when Lucy refuses to be his plaything he’ll throw that one little word back at her… No!

‘I could not put this book down. I’ll definitely be reading more of Cathy Williams now.’ – Philippa, Administrator, Plymouth

Highly enjoyable!!

This was the first MODERN I've had read in 2014 and it was a very enjoyable read. The title was intriguing and although there was no image of the heroine on the cover the author's description of Lucy as a highly moral but determined young woman was sufficently convincing that it didn't matter. I also found the choice of setting between London /Somerset refreshingly original.

Enjoyably different

This is an interesting book in that many might not feel it fits the Modern genre - it's humourous, light-hearted and parts of the plot seem far fetched. While Lucy is almost impossibly naive her very simplicity somehow manages to tie the alluring Gabriel in knots as one seemingly simple situation becomes complictaed and leads to another. If you accept the book for what it is then it is a highly enjoyable read Ten out of ten

Worth more than one reading, superb!

A more innocent and cute heroine, Lucy, is difficult to find in the world of romance. Her characterisation is very well delineated and so the plot is held together craftily as no one knows what she will do next! That in no way detracts the macho and oh so powerful billionaire Gabriel. In fact I think this book epitomises what a Modern romantic genre should be. This book should be worth a second read or more
