In a rare foray outside Australia to a Greek island this is one of Mrs Darcy's best books in some time.
Ari is a down-to-earth but sexy and fascinating hero although perhaps the story just comes down slightly too much on his side while Tina is a modern and appealing feisty heroine well able to stand up to Ari.
From the opening scenes set in a luxury hotel in Dubai this fairly scintillates and moves along at a fast pace with the author's usual ability to portray human traits to the fore.
I particularly liked how the couple's "secret" daughter was an integral part of the story without dominating it, as so often happens now.

An Absolutely stunning read!!
I hadn't read any of Emma Darcy's titles for some time when I chose this from
my stockpile of MODERN(S) and I was reminded immediately of what an immensely
talented author she is!! The Greek setting was a refreshing change from all her Australian settings and once again the marketing people at HMB did a superb
job in their cover design.
This MODERN ticked every conceivable box for me and I urge fans of the MODERN series to definitely resd this title as it's a perfect example of what the series has to offer!
