In the game of love…he plays to win!

Finding her fiancé in flagrante delicto rocked Lily Parisi’s world to its core. But now Lily’s determined to get on with her life – minus a man! A break in Milan sounds ideal – until she bumps into Alessandro del Marco, an enigmatic face from her past, and her plans come a little undone…

Alessandro has always wanted Lily, but never pursued her. The attraction between them is intense, but Alessandro always maintains control. Until suddenly he finds it impossible to keep away from Lily – and she finds it hopeless to resist…

Somewaht dull.

Mrs Bianchin is trying to ring changes in her plots but it is difficult to know what to make of this. We have a male rather than female stalker but I can't see that this adds to the plot and in many ways Allesandro's actions in manipulating events are tantamount to stalking - regularly turning up in someone else's place etc. Overall the story moves at a rather pedestrian pace. 5 out of 10.

I was expecting much more from reading the back cover. It was an ok story but certainly nothing more. I did not take to any of the major characters - Alessandro and Lily were, to be truthful, hardly exciting and I didn't really care what happened. Not a keeper, sorry to say.

This was a very slow book, the storyy line was extremely lacking and boring. The only redeeming part of this book, would have to be the hero. Heroine - extremely annoying, i just dont understand her reluctance Hero - amazing and patient Stroyline - boring Chemistry - not enough Pace - very slow, in certain parts it was a drag to read The story lacked excitement and pace!

Very disappointing from a renowned author. There was the magical ingredient missing from this Modern genre of Romance. It was more like a journal of the heroine kept by her day by day which becomes boring after a while. The conversation /dialogue between the hero and heroine was very stilted. Their meetings were not too often and then too it was mainly what the heroine was 'thinking'. Hope the writer's next story will be an improvement on this one.

I have been a huge fan of Helen Bianchin for years and I have to say this is the first of her books I just didn't like. The back cover synopsis got me hooked but it just didn't deliver. I wanted to shake Lily and roar at her to cop on and as for Alessandro - get a backbone! This title more suited to Cherish range of books than Modern (I feel). But it won't put me off reading Helen's books in the future and I look forward to her next title(s).

Agree with the previous reviewer - this book was so boring that I gave up half way through. Not at all your usual Bianchin storyline. Very disappointed.

first book I have reviewed, dissapointed with the story line, it was slow to read and found the story line boring. How this book does not deserve 5 star rating!

Very disappointed by this, I usually love books by this author but the storyline was really slow and boring

Very slow and disappointing

Exceptionally slow, and not in a good way. The intention seemed to be the building of a smouldering passion between Lily and Alessandro, but the result was drawn out and disappointing. I also noted an excessively repeated unusual turn of phrase that wrenched the reader right out of the story. Not a pleasant experience. Two stars for Aunt Sophia.
