great book...a must read
Brilliant story, best book ive read in a long time. Excellant cliff hanger at the end which makes waiting for part two that much harder! really looking forward to the second book.
The Pregnancy Shock
Well done Lynne Graham this book was a beautiful read, I flew through the pages and I never wanted to get to the last page.I cant wait to get the sequel, I
How do you review a book which is only half completed?
In Alexei Mrs Graham has once again created an alpha male although not as agressive as sometimes previously - which works well with me. Billie is feisty and a mixture of both modern and old-fashioned.
There is an intriguing plot and I am eagerly awaiting to see how events unfold.
BUT, there is no ending as M&B readers expect since the story is to be continued in a second book and I'm not sure that I'm in favour of this. Could it not have been issued as a longer Sprcial release?
I will be interested to see how other Readers feel about this.
As it stands though -ending notwithstanding - it's a winner to date.
9 out of 10.
the pregnancy shock
definitely a shock with this one , a steamy yet suspensful edition , keep putting these out and you will go far. Cant wait to read the second instalment.
this book is the book of the century
the pregnancy shock
Not a good idea
Great book as always from Lynne Graham but I'm seriously not impressed with the two part for month-to-month - it's not why we read Mills & Boon! Please don't adopt this as a format, it's too annoying and would have been much better if it had been released as a special release in two parts - do NOT want this becoming a regular feature of modern. It's a pity as I usually love the series but I think the story of the hero and heroine needs to be completed within one book.
I really loved this book, excellent reading, but also disappointed that it is in two parts. Waiting anxiously for the next book. I agree with some of the other comments, I would pay more for both installments in one go.
Really enjoyed this book. Didn't want to put it down.
No more part 2
I concur with all of the above comments. It is a very good read but I would not have bought it if I had known it was in two parts. It should have been titled The Pregnancy Shock part 1 by Lynne Graham . I will now buy part two to see what how it ends but if this is a kite flying exercise to bring in this format in the future then I will stop buying the books.
The Pregnancy Shock
Wow. Lynne Graham has outdone herself. Good book. Have never met such a strong heroine in all the romances I've read so far. We finally get a girl who stands up to her man. The storytelling was good - flowed quite well, not overwhelmed by too much S.E.X. You get drawn in by the story of a girl who knows what she wants, and does not compromise her ethics and principles even in the face of physical atraction. This book shows that you don't have to be a doormat to win your man. Way to go, Lynne!
Great book but I am still annoyed annoyed and trying hard to get over it
I bought this book 13 July day before my birthday, so I can read it on my birthday and I am very particular about these things right!! I took half a day on my birthday from work went home all excited (note I did not read the reviews, I am what you would one I like an Author I am loyal to you forever or something like that. I read the book was finished by the evening and boy from then, I was really annoyed and a couple of things. I love Lynne's books and I have all of them, on Wed 14 July I was really annoyed with her (not good I know, since I am in control of my own happiness blah blah.......).
So it took me 12 days to finally calm down and vent. But please going forward don't do this I would have rather paid 5.00/6.00 for the full book at once rather than a wait a month for next installment.
I also have great idea create a modern super romance, instead of part one and two.
But now all the negative emotions are gone, we can concentrate on the future, I can't wait to read the next instalment.
The Pregnancy Shock
Another great read from Lynne Graham. She never disappoints. However I do agree that the two-part concept is extremely annoying. I'm used to getting my happy ending fix at the end of the book and not a month down the line. Afterall the book's hardly thick enough that you need an intermission. Five stars to Lynne Graham and one star to mills and boon for the two book idea (what were you thinking?).
loved this book...Lynne Graham is my favourite author and she has produced another great story, i couldnt put the book down till the end. I have just bought the 2nd part to it and cant wait for it to arrive, well done Lynne!
The Pregnancy Shock
Do not start this book until you have part two the next month as the finish is not a finish and therefore unsatisfactory
