I always knew I wanted to be a writer, even before I was able to write. After countless short stories, essays sold to high school classmates, and novel ideas that went nowhere, I read LaVyrle Spencer's Morning Glory. I knew then that nothing could be more rewarding than being a writer of romance novels. It took several years and three completed manuscripts before I made that first sale, but I knew I was right!
When I'm not writing, I spend my time working two different part-time jobs and I still insist (despite consistently disastrous results) on sewing dresses for my daughter. I enjoy reading, spending time with my family, raising butterflies, and still playing what-I-want-to-be-when-I-grow-up – careers I now give to my heroines. I live in West Texas with my family and our Pomeranian named Hiccups.
