I started writing stories as a child when I penned a tale about the adventures of my cat, Ajax. As a teenager, I swore three things: I'd never work in fast food, never attend the University of Georgia and never date a man with a moustache.
As it transpired, fate laughed at my oath and I found myself working fast food (and loving it!) the summer after I graduated from high school. Four years later, I received my bachelors degree in Public Relations from the University of Georgia and married a wonderful man with a very handsome moustache.
After working in public relations for a little more than a year, my husband and I moved from Tennessee to Louisiana, where I decided to pursue my love of writing fiction.
Since then I’ve written many more stories of adventure and romantic suspense and am proud to say that I have won numerous honours for my work including the coveted Golden Heart prize for unpublished authors awarded by Romance Writers of America.I am an active member on the board of directors for the North Louisiana Storytellers and Authors of Romance (NOLA STARS) in Shreveport, L.A., and I love to stay involved with my son's Boy Scout pack and my church. For fun, I love reading, travelling, collecting Peanuts' Snoopy items, playing Pokeno once a month with friends and spending downtime with my family.
I write from my home in Louisiana, where I live with my husband, one son and three cats who think they are people. I love to hear from my readers and can be contacted thorugh my website.
