As the daughter of wandering parents, I found myself imparted with a love of travel and foreign cultures early on in life. I remember always wanting to read and write. As a young girl I would compose stories set inside the worlds of my favourite authors, happily oblivious of copyright law.
My first love affair with history came through D'Aulaires' Book of Greek Myths. Since then, I've immersed myself in the study of classical worlds, American and British history, and revolutionary times in Europe.
I am also fascinated by folklore and mythology and have a weakness for ghost stories and sordid tales from the past. I have a degree in English Literature and History, which gave me a chance to explore my lifelong passions. My bookshelf is crammed full of reference books, romantic and genre fiction, and dusty old volumes that prove so irresistible to collect.
After a youth spent sneaking my grandmother's romance novels, I am thrilled to be writing for Harlequin.
