I’ll always remember the day I got the call from Harlequin to publish my first novel. It happened on Valentine’s Day, which was so appropriate because I love writing romance novels. I’ve always felt that love makes the world go round, and nothing is more important than relationships between people. It’s exciting to develop heroes and heroines who spar with each other, get on each other’s wrong side, then learn to really see and appreciate the other person for who they are and what they add to the world, and ultimately fall in love. I’ve been published since 2002 and many novels later, I’m still doing what I love most. Thanks to my readers, my books have hit national bestseller lists, won numerous awards and have been translated all over the world.
Prior to becoming a full-time writer, I worked in the medical field. Later I studied architecture and design, which led me to a career in television where I became a researcher and writer for an interior design program. Now I use those research skills to pen my own stories.
I live in Toronto Canada with my husband and daughter and our dog (a cute little Bichon). In my spare time I enjoy travelling, taking photographs, hiking, and going to the movies. If you'd like, you can find me on my website, facebook and twitter, where you’ll get the latest updates on me and my work.
