Though I still happily live in my small hometown in Northwestern Pennsylvania, I was blessed with a vivid imagination – which means I've spent most of my life lost in my own world. As a stay-at-home mother of three children, I had the freedom to put my stories on paper and pursue my dream of becoming a published author. After much trial and error, I discovered my writing process – daydreaming, mumbling to myself, playing Spider Solitaire… and writing, of course.
In 2010 I was honoured to receive Romance Writers of America's prestigious RITA award for my second book, 'A-not-so-perfect-past' and have since written more than ten novels for the Superromance line.
When I'm not writing (or daydreaming, mumbling to myself or playing Spider Solitaire) I can often be found making some of the many recipes I collect or walking on the treadmill (so I can try even more recipes, of course). I have been declared by my kids as “The Only Mom in Town Who Makes Her Children Do Chores” and “The Meanest Mom in the World” – as if there’s something wrong with counting down the remaining days of summer vacation until school starts again.
