About Lee

I was born Nottingham, an only child to loving and supportive parents. I went to an all-girls' school but decided against going to University, so when I left school at sixteen I found myself trying my hand at several jobs, including a brief stint modelling swimwear.
I had a traditional white wedding to my husband, Denis, after I turned 22, and we spent a beautiful honeymoon in Italy. We’ve been happily married ever since. We have two children together, a son and a daughter who are now both now grown up and married and have given us four lovely grandchildren.

My writing career began with short stories and serials for magazines and newspapers before I moved on to writing novels. I’ve now published more than twenty Mills and Boon romances.

My hobbies are reading, gardening, walking, and cooking. Travelling is my main love and my husband and I spent a year going round the world, taking in India, China, Australia, New Zealand, and the States. Last year I rented a palazzo in the heart of Venice, followed by a quick hop aboard the Orient Express. I’m now saving up for a whirlwind tour of Japan, a romantic and exotic destination I have wanted to visit since I was a child.

I currently live with my husband in a 300-year-old stone cottage in a picturesque Derbyshire village, which gets cut off by snow most winters.
