I was born in Northern California, where I grew wanting to be an actress. I earned a theatre degree from California State University in Sacramento and then went to New York City to study acting. Later, I moved to Southern California, where I got started on my writing career with short stories, plays, and poems. My poems and short stories were published in a number of small literary journals. My plays were produced at The Back Alley and Group Theatres in Southern California and have been published by Dramatists Play Service and West Coast Plays.
I’ve written more than eighty contemporary romances for Harlequin Books and I'm proud to say that during the course of my career I’ve won Romantic Times BOOK review’s Reviewer’s Choice Award for best Silhouette Special Edition, been nominated six times for the Romance Writers of America’s RITA award and four times for Romantic Times Series Storyteller of the Year.
Right now, I live in Oregon with my family. I love writing romance and plan to keep writing love stories for years to come.
