I got my big break in 2000 when I won the Harlequin Blaze Contest (unpublished category) and my first sale was a three-book contract – one for the Blaze line, one for the Temptation series and one for the Duets series. I am proud to say I've won many awards for my writing, including the Romantic Times Reviewer's Choice Award for Best Blaze of 2002 and the Laurel Wreath. In 2004 I was a double Rita Award finalist.
I hold an honours degree in English literature and live in the Pacific Northwest where I spend a lot of time daydreaming about gorgeous men, and women who are a lot more adventurous than I. When I'm not writing, I'm usually out walking my border collie in the rain, or twisted into some bizarre yoga shape.
