About Lyn

My first book came out in 1998. Never Alone was #36 in the first year of the Love Inspired line of romances. I always wanted to be a writer and a teacher – and guess what? I was a teacher and then a writer and a mom of a son and daughter!

I've always lived in the Midwest. I grew up in Illinois (right along the shore of Lake Michigan) and then I raised my children in eastern Iowa (just west of the Mississippi River) and now I live in the northwoods in a cottage on a lake (just south of Lake Superior). Notice I like large bodies of water, but have avoided oceans.

I am a happy person. I am grateful to God for all his blessings and I try to share my joy with others.

I write both contemporary and historical romance, some with a hint of suspense. I like to write historicals with Quakers as characters because they “stirred” matters up with their support of abolition and women’s rights.

I write a blog, titled Strong Women, Brave Stories. I invite authors and readers to submit stories about women they have known and admired.
