Let the games begin!
The ‘fasten seatbelt’ sign hasn’t even been switched off before the chemistry is mile-high between airline CEO Alexio Christakos and Sidonie Fitzgerald! Accustomed to brief encounters with aloof socialites, Alexio finds Sidonie’s unaffected innocence has him hooked – and determined to enjoy a night of pleasure in her arms.
Sidonie is meant to be sorting out her life – not starting an affair with a Greek tycoon! But Alexio is the ultimate distraction…until he learns of her strained finances and, to her horror, accuses her of wanting more than just his body! But Sidonie’s innocence masks a backbone of steel, and she won’t take his accusation lying down…

Make your own mind up.
This latest series by Abby Green doesn't seem to be ticking the boxes for me.
In this second book, the alpha Alexio is certainly a more empathetic and likable hero than his brother Rafaele was and Sidonie almost seems too good to be true but I found it hard to really warm to her.
Alexio's nickname for her sounded masculine and I found this very off-putting.
The sexual content was rather mechanical and without going into detail rather followed what is now becoming formulaic in M&B Moderns.
I can't say in all honesty that I totally disliked it and it was nicely plotted but I'm now left pinning all my hopes on the third half-brother Cesar.
Nothing to do with the content of the book but who on earth chose the cover - the hero looks like an adolescent and the heroine seems physically larger than him?
Five point five out of ten
Abby Green is one of my favorite authors. Her novels always take me on an emotional roller coaster with sexy, passion, heartbreak and then the most glorious and befitting end and "When Christakos Meets His Match" is no different. I love the tortured hero, the tortured but sassy heroine who find each other and help each other to overcome their past to make their future glorious!
Irresistible story by Abby Green, a genius of a writer!
She is one of my favourite writers of the Modern genre of Romance because she knows the combination of what it takes to make the rich, macho hero an irresistible hero, who can value a woman who is truly enthralled by him. The storyline is simple, the repartee is superb and there you go another happy ever after for you! The only element that caused a massive distraction for me was the teenage picture of a boy, not that of a man. The cover looked as if a teacher is scolding a truant school boy! Please could you do justice to the writers/ readers by giving them macho heroes to look at?
This one's truly awful. I feel I shouldn't open the book seeing as we have children on the cover! Someone needs to review these covers. Age appropriate models please. This one looks 12,
When Christakos Meets His Match
I will be honest after the first book in this series, I was wary of picking this one to read from Abby Green. But I read her third book in this series and really enjoyed it so came back to this book again. I liked the plot and characters, very well written and thanks again Abby Green.
