What the Greek Can't Resist

Rating By Sarina, 02 May 2014

Go ahead and enjoy this one! I loved it! Everything, the plot, Arion, Perla the situations and also thankfully we have an epilogue. Maya Blake strikes it perfect. Thank you Maya and just waiting for Theos' story!

Compelling

Rating By R, 07 May 2014

Even in this day and age I do have reservations about people falling into bed within hours of meeting each other and even in the circumstances I considered the beginning quite tacky. However, once I had got my head round this I can't say anything other than I found this a compelling read. Although the plot in many ways followed a much trodden path there were unique circumstances which lifted it and it was neatly integrated from a previous book about Arion's brother which took an ingenious turn. Both Arion and Perla were sterling and strong characters. I would have liked Perla to have had more backbone towards the end - it seemed all the compromise was on her side although overall she was to be admired for standing up for herself. The dialogue and tension was first class throughout which captured your attention. Nine out of ten

Not so much...

Perla suffered a lot from the marriage! I can’t help but pity her. Arion is the typical man you would fine in any M&B romance books, so I can’t say much. I don’t feel a lot from this book unlike the first book (What the Greek’s Money Can’t Buy), maybe because there was really not much action in this story. The only part I love is when Arion get worried of Perla sky-diving. It shows how human he is! Hope Theo’s story can compensate this. Get the adrenaline going, Maya!

There is passion, sensuality, unforgettable repartee in this story!

A definite ten out of ten for Maya Blake! She belongs definitely to the Classic writers of Modern genre. The storyline is focused, the characters develop for the better as the story progresses and by the end, the reader can leave the couple with a huge smile and a good feel factor! The way Arion displays tender , loving care towards Perla is unbelievable Waiting eagerly for her next story.
