Out of the frying pan, and into…
Hannah Latimer, beautifully enigmatic socialite, has left her glamorous lifestyle behind to prove her worth by becoming an aid worker. But when she’s captured by an oppressive regime her only means of escape is powerful and arrogant Prince Kamel of Surana. And the price…?

An enjoyable read
A lighthearted uncomplicated story with some laughter inducing dialogue. The heroine is charming, you have to love her. The hero is appealing.
Enjoyed reading it .
After an all action beginning this settles down somewhat at a gentle pace.
Kamel was very enigmatic and it was quite difficult to unravel the layers around him. Hannah's past history suggested a totally different person to what her true self was, she just needed a bit of maturity but I was somewhat surprised that Kemel's reaction upon realising Hannah's real character was very laisser-faire.
However, basically both characters were appealing and you were able to become immersed in the story.
I enjoyed this.
Eight out of ten
An irresistible tale of power and passion!
It is an exquisite story of how a man/hero can really love a woman! The story line is simple, with no extraneous detail and so it has a rapid pace. The macho hero does deserve a woman who can show a little more flexibility in certain situations. I am not a fan of desert Kings/Sheiks or Princes, but Kim Lawrence has spun a tale with sharp repartee and strong character delineation so that makes this story so interesting and riveting. It is a must read romance for all who know the meaning of true love.
