A sleepless night too many!
All Lara Connor knows about the hot-as-sin guy who lives above her is that his nocturnal activities are keeping her awake. A lot. Fed up – and not at all jealous! – she decides to confront the man head-on. Big mistake! Because, face to face, Lara sees just why so many women fall into Alex’s bed!
Nights have been sheer torture for ex-soldier Alex ever since he returned from active duty, but he’s not about to share that with Lara. But, when she becomes his unexpected flatmate, temptation personified is sleeping in the room next door and keeping his distance is going to be difficult. Impossible. In fact… it’s the perfect opportunity to show her just why sleep is so overrated…
The Flat in Notting Hill - Love and lust in the city that never sleeps!

Pleasant enough

Rating By R, 11 Aug 2014

Charlotte Phillips was my favourite author in the RIVA line but in the revamp to Modern tempted something seems to have been lost probably because she has changed her style slightly to suit the new line. Probably MT is not the genre for my personal tastes but I have been reading various authors on "past performance" so I'll have to reconsider. For me there was too much emphasis on the sexual side of the relationship and while Lara was an appealing heroine Alex was very egocentric and selfish throughout, feeling sorry for himself. This was the second in a 4 book series about "The Flat In Notting Hill" so perhaps in the last two books we may find further reference to these characters but the ending here did not leave me with any sense of permanence. A pleasant enough read but perhaps not for me. Five point five out of ten
