Back in her husband’s bed!

Four years ago Gianna married Raúl Velez-Saldaña in a whirlwind – he was the man she loved and the father of her baby. But, tragically, her pregnancy didn’t last – and neither did their marriage. Discovering Raúl’s infidelity, Gianna left. As far as Raúl is concerned his marriage to Gianna was simply postponed.

Now the Spaniard has returned – and he wants his wife back! In public they are the perfect society couple; in private the secrets of their past still haunt them, but their desire is just as strong…

More of the same.

This marked a change of direction for the author being set mostly outside Australia in Majorca. For the first third of the book this was really good but then it degenerated into the wearying round of charity fund-raising auctions which regular readers will be familiar with. Mrs Bianchin is a very good writer but while this was her best novel in some while it must surely be time to ring a few changes in her plots? 6.5 out of 10.

Another repeat

Rating By Aline, 10 Oct 2010

I must say i totally agree with the previous review. I keep hoping that H. Bianchin will change the details of her stories, but it always ends up a repeat of the previous ones. Surely a great author like heer can imagine details others than charity galas and a jealous ex-lover who stalks the heroin and a hero who can read the mind of the heroin. I still hope for something better.
