Oh thanks so much for stopping by my page! Since you’re here, I’m guessing you want to know a bit about me. Hmmm, so where to start?
Well, I’m a write-at-home-mom to four, and a life-long romance junkie, lucky enough to have made a career out of my addiction.
Though I call Minnesota home these days, I’m a Chicago girl at heart, having grown up on the north side and then earning my degree from Loyola University. I spent a semester abroad in Rome, where I developed a taste for wine, travel, and friends-to-lovers themed Happily-Ever-After stories… because that’s how I met the man who would become my husband. A guy who’d literally been living around the corner from me in Chicago for the previous two years!
After spending our twenties playing in the Windy City and then taking a few years to start our family in California, we’re now settled in gorgeous Minnesota, where I spend my days keeping track of this small herd of Kelly kids and writing love stories set in all the places that have touched my heart and shaped my life.
Writing has been one of my greatest pleasures and most frequent escapes since as far back as high school, but it wasn’t until I’d had my first son that I considered trying to turn it into a career. There were plenty of starts and stops along the way – i.e., my first novel, the never, ever to be published story of an abducted, agoraphobic, amnesiac (lol, yes, I know!) – but when luck in the form of a pushy writing friend hooked me up with Harlequin’s Instant Seduction contest… well, it was definitely another Happily-Ever-After for me.
Now that writing is my full time job, when the work is done and I’m ready to play – my favourite ways to unwind are cooking internationally themed dinners with my husband and friends, taking the boat out with the family, snuggling in for a movie couch date, and most of all… reading! So, have a good recommendation?? Shoot me an email or pop over to Facebook or Twitter to let me know. Or to just say hi – I love to hear from my readers!!
All my best,
