When I was first introduced to my husband in college, I knew I would never date the man. He was a graduate student getting a PhD in physics, and I had purposely taken a second year of biology in high school to avoid taking physics. So much for first impressions. After both my children left home, I went back to teaching deaf high school and I have some funny stories about mistakes I made while interpreting Geometry. Algebra wasn’t as bad.
