I grew up in a small town in New England, but my head was always in the clouds. I wanted to travel and see the world but I was happy enough to write my own characters and live through them. I started writing at a young age and I never really stopped. Even if I wasn’t writing a novel or a movie script, I was jotting down ideas in my journal or on post-it notes. I never thought (even though I dreamed) they would lead me to actually becoming published someday. One of my proudest moments was winning $50 for a writing contest in sixth grade. And I bought my very own television with it. In that same grade, one of my most influential teachers taught me that reading was an escape and I hope that I can bring that to my readers as well.
I currently live in lower New England, a quick train ride to New York city, with my husband and adorable wheaten terrier in a Victorian fixer-upper.
Read, read, read. Write, write, write.
