I decided to start writing when my son was four and with over fifteen books now published, life certainly hasn't slowed. I’m currently taking horseback riding lessons with my daughter, going to the cross country games of my son, and despite suffering with MS I take time to work out at the gym, swim and have returrned to college to study part time.
The horse riding lessons are one of the best things we have done as a family. My husband loves to take videos and laugh as I bounce around the arena and I am always laughing right along with him. You have to laugh at life, or you'll end up taking yourself too seriously. I also have a great time teaching four and five year olds in Sunday school. Children are a wonderful treasure, and I can't wait to be a grandma one day!
In my ‘spare time’ (is there really any such thing when you have a family?) I enjoy the Arts and Science Centre and going to movies. I also occasionally play the piano and would love to learn pottery and brush up on my Spanish in the future.
