Fantastic Story

Rating By Julia, 08 Jul 2014

I found the characters all very engaging and of course you have your token bad guys. The way the writer exposed details of the characters was wonderful as you don't get a full history at the start but a more story of discovery as you go through the book. Even near the end there is a little surprise. I hope there will be a book on the cousin's story as Mavis and Roland I hope get together but I would like to read that. The details of the wedding were not there but having 4 characters and 2 couples get together during the story add to the romance. Some aspects are sad and others your can't help but smile about. I found some parts very sweet and interesting from a historical point of view. A look into the world of tournaments and also the nature of some of the nobles. It is a gem of a story but I wish the ending had more to it with luck the author will be putting another one up with Mavis and Roland's story and we can have a fuller ending including Thomasina and Rheged and catch up with how they went on.
