A medical romance

Review By Sarah Cleaver
Rating"This is the middle book of the trilogy; but it doesn't suffer from the "more of the same" syndrome some trilogies do; it's linked, yes (you find out how Nana and Oliver are getting on), but it stands on it's own two feet. In fact, I'd call this a medical romance set in the Napoleonic Wars; there's enough medical detail to add interest to the believably growing feelings of the two central characters. The gritty background is never glossed over but the story is definitely focused on the romance - and what a lovely romance it is too. A fine man, a wonderful woman, finding each other - wondefully satisfying! Highly recommended."
