"After a short hiatus Mrs Hannay returns to the ageless Outback for this novel.

As usual the characters are pleasing and easy-to-relate to.

This is pretty much standard fare and while I wouldn't say it was among her best even this author's standard fare makes for a highly enjoyable read.
