HER LONE COWBOY Donna Alward Lily Germaine thinks cowboy Noah Laramie is the most stubborn-as-a-mule man she’s ever met. Losing an arm doesn’t mean he has to lose sight of who he is. Top notch.

Rating"Tough To Tame
Mrs Palmer is an author who seems to divide the public into two groups. She has a legion of fans who devour everything she writes and then there are those who just do not like her style.
Count me in the former group.
This story is written mainly with humour in mind and I laughed out loud at times - at one stage there is a "double-act" who will have you in stitches.
Two sympathetic characters in Bentley and Cappie and although the hero does fall from grace he redeems himself.
Another Diana Palmer winner.
10 out of 10.
Her Lone Cowboy
Mrs Alward is a relatively recent addition to the ranks of M&B and if I was keeping a chart of favourite authors she is someone who would be rapidly rising up it.
The author has chosen a difficult theme in that the hero is disabled from a war injury but it is written with compassion and sympathy without being overly sentimental - in fact at times you forget the disability.
Noah and Lily both have demons from the past to conquer and it is played out against a family background (with characters from a previous novel) in an enjoyable Canadian setting.
From a personal viewpoint one thing I would say is that while I found this enthralling as a "one-off" in all honesty it is not a theme I would wish to read about regularly.
10 out of 10."
