"This is very interesting in that although it is the first of a two-parter about Saul and Giselle the ending is such that it actually stands on it's own and does not leave any loose ends! Well done to Mrs Jordan on this.
I found it compelling, entertaining and well up to her usual standard although it does rather astonish me that someone could harbour such dire thoughts of revenge because someone took a parking space they were waiting for!

"i love penny jordan - i have most of her books - and she is really a great writer - but i could not get into this story.
Firstly - giselle and saul just did not grab me....so much angst....could not feel anything for both of them....right now i am half way thru and struggling to get to the end...
I also found the novel had very little dialogue between the characters....and pov kept from one to another....sometimes i lost the plot along the way.
I will definetly finish the book and will buy the part 2 as well and gee hopefully giselle will see the world in a more sunny way.
