"Thought the synopsis sounded better than the book turned out to be. That said, it was an enjoyable, if curiously unexciting, read. Maybe the housekeeper story line is a bit passed its sell by date ...

"Bit if a change for Mrs Donald here being set completely in New Zealand and no royal connections.
It is certainly a pleasant enough read but doesn't have that spark which would make it a keeper.
