"Anne Mather is a very good writer but unfortunately this book failed to deliver. The heroine's race was an original idea but Anne Mather has tackled the issue of race much more satisfactorily in previous books. My overwhelming feeling was that a book that had the potential to be exciting, challenging and unique failed to deliver. One positive was that the hero, Dominic, was portrayed as someone it would be possible for the heroine to fall in love with. "
