‘I’m having your baby.’ With those words, Emma Worth changed Chase Larson’s life forever. Having been born on the wrong side of the marriage bed, the millionaire vowed no baby of his would be so cruelly labelled. There was just one thing that might keep him from making Emma his wife: their feuding families. She’d never dreamed one night with Chase would bind them forever. The pregnant heiress desperately wanted to raise their child together, but only if Chase could forget they were enemies. The Takeover: For better, for worse. For business, for pleasure. These tycoons have vowed to have it all!

Rating"Lets give a big welcome to Day LeClaire into the world of Modern M&Bs. And what a grand entry it is! Amazing book!
The characters are well-adjusted human beings that would fit into the normal world. Its very in context with the modern world of Blackberry's and takeovers, while cutting out the petty jealousy, the vampish woman out for the guy or the overly arrogant and unfeeling hero.
Read only if you're interested in a real modern love story more believable to our generation."

Rating"I'm in two minds about this.
Getting pregnant on a one night stand with a stranger whom you only meet again by chance a couple of months later is not really a story-line I feel worthy of M&B.
The book is well-written pacy and I like the way Emma refuses to roll over to the rather two-faced but also attractive Chase.
Perhaps circumstances are different in the US today but there is really no social stigma today in the UK regarding illegitimacy which is one of the cornerstones of the plot.
Apparently this is the first of THE TAKEOVER Series and while on the whole I quite enjoyed it if the test is whether I would want to read the subsequent books then the answer is unfortunately NO.
Six point five out of ten.
