A family in need…
When firefighter Austin Monroe is called to rescue the inhabitants of some small cottages, he finds amongst them his late partner’s widow, Nurse Lindsey Winters, and her young son!  
They are made homeless by the fire, and Austin offers to let them stay with him – but Lindsey is determined to go it alone.
Austin is equally determined to help them. Lindsey is in need of support and friendship, but Austin is fighting an intense attraction to Lindsey.  He knows he’s got to be patient, and needs to play it carefully – because what he really wants is to make their temporary arrangement permanent…
