"The Playboy of Harley Street
A pleasant enough read but perhaps just a shade too "sweet" for my personal taste - everything was too pat.
There was nothing to dislike about the characters but neither could you particularly warm to them. I don't agree with dare-devil sports for the sheer heck of it.
I didn't find the inclusion of Formula 1 racing in the plot particularly appealing.

Doctor on the Red Carpet
Very interesting background on the set of making a film.
Elizabeth was certainly a heroine who engaged your sympathy but Kendrick struck a wrong note. His insistence on calling Elizabeth "Lizzie" after she had made plain she objected to it rather summed up his whole character as somewhat superficial.
I was left feeling there was something missing in the story and never really got involved in it although again it was pleasant enough.

"Loved both books in this duet - especially the continuity thread running through them. Anne Fraser has again come up with fresh and unusual characters as well as a spice of the exotic, without being over the top.
Really great, enjoyable reads - highly recommend!"
