Rating"The Child Who Rescued Christmas
There is a very interesting moral dilemma as the background to this book and I have to wonder how I would have reacted in similar circumstances.
While the appealing characters are a doctor and nurse by profession the big downside is that far too little of the book is devoted to the Medical side until well into the second half and for me personally far too much attention is given to the hero's young son.
Six point five out of ten
Firefighter With A Frozen Heart
An excellent story written with emotional depth and understanding.
Doctor cum firefightger Jess with demons to overcome and feisty nurse Julie who have past history are portrayed as fascinating everyday characters whom you are immediately rooting for.
Engrossing and probably Mrs Drake's best yet.
