"A promising start to a new Series of linked books set in the English Lakeland.
As usual Mrs Gordon's well known love for English village life shines through in a plot which has a lot happening at a fast pace.
However, there was too much attention given to Nathan's adopted son for my liking and I didn't really enjoy the way he kept pressurising Libby - people's wishes do have to be respected.
Overall an enjoyable read though and I am looking forward to the rest of the Series.
