After a slight dip with her last novel Mrs Neil is right back on form here with two captivating leads in Ben and Jasmine and an enthralling mix of Medical detail and insight into family village life.

Officer, Surgeon...Gentleman
Mostly set on an American military ship I had reservations that the location might be too restricting but not so. I particularly enjoyed the scenes when the ship docked in Singapore.
With a "lovers reunited" theme and a particularly determined and fascinating hero in Cole this was just that little bit different and successfully so.
Amelia is one of four siblings in a Naval family and although it has not been said I get the impression that perhaps this is the first in a series. I certainly hope so!
